Spring of 2014, my mare got caught in a fence and literally peeled the skin down her right fore leg. The vet cleaned it out and told me there was nothing they could do. I was welcome try to treat it as an open wound. My dad told me about Vetericyn so I thought I would give it a try. After 6 weeks I had to cut off the proud flex, and within another couple of weeks it was completely healed.
