Vetericyn’s yearly Future Leaders of Agricultural & Veterinary Sciences Scholarship helps support graduating high school seniors as they pursue higher education in agriculture or veterinary science.
In 2024, we awarded two students each a $2,500 scholarship. We were amazed by the incredible essays we received from students across the country. It was fitting this is an Olympic year as competition was tough and it was difficult to pick only two winners! Ultimately, Rain Vasey and James Marshall won and we’re excited to help support their education goals.
“After meeting so many bright, articulate students at FFA and high schools across the country, we wanted to increase our support of these future leaders as they advance their education,” said Bob Burlingame, CEO of Innovacyn and former FFA member. “The skills I learned as an FFA member have helped me throughout my career. It’s truly rewarding to come full circle and help students as they begin their professional journey.”
Non-profit organizations seeking a donation must be tax-exempt and defined as a non-profit under section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, a public or private school that has registered with the National Center for Educational Statistics, or a unit of government if the contribution is solely for charitable or public purposes.

Teachers and advisors play an important role in fostering the intellectual and social development of future generations. Each year, Vetericyn provides a scholarship, the Future Innovators of Agriculture Scholarship to a high school senior and an undergraduate student. Whether students want to become farmers, botanists, or veterinarians, the Vetericyn scholarship program is there. Since our scholarships genesis we have provided over $20,000 in scholarship aid.
