– Innovacyn Announces Third Annual “Vetericyn Loves Animals” Charity Giveaway –
RIALTO, Calif., August 28, 2013 – Six lucky animal non-profit organizations will win a
year’s supply of Vetericyn wound and skin care products, thanks to Innovacyn’s third
annual “Vetericyn Loves Animals” charity giveaway. Innovacyn today announced that
nominations for the online contest will be open from September 2nd to September 30th
on the Vetericyn web site (www.vetericyn.com/charitycontest), and voting will take place
on the Vetericyn Facebook page (www.facebook.com/vetericyn) from October 2nd
through October 30th.
“This contest is our way of giving back and recognizing the organizations and selfless
volunteers who work throughout the year to help animals in need,” said Tabitha Cromer,
marketing communication manager for Innovacyn. “Filling out the nomination form just
takes a few minutes, but as we’ve heard from past winners, can make a huge difference
in helping an organization as they work to improve the lives and health of animals.”
To be eligible for participation, nominated charities must serve animals and be located
in the United States, Canada or Puerto Rico. Anyone can nominate an organization by
heading to the Vetericyn web site during the nomination period and providing basic
information about the group they support. Organizations are divided into two categories
– those who primarily serve small animals (cats, dogs, exotics, etc.) and those who
serve large animals (donkeys, horses, etc.). At the end of the voting period, the three
“large animal” and three “small animal” organizations with the most votes will be named
winners.
Last year’s winners were All Vegas Horses’ Local Equine Assistance Network, The
Wildlife Aid Foundation, 832 K-9’s Deputy Dogs, Prince Fluffy Kareem and Hedgehog
Bottom.
