– Kimberly Sorenson to Manage South; Deborah Pero to Cover Northeast –
RIALTO, Calif., Oct. 4, 2012 – Innovacyn Inc., makers of Vetericyn and Puracyn healthcare products, today announced that two new account managers have joined the company. Kimberly Sorenson, who brings nearly 20 years of professional sales experience in the animal health industry, will be responsible for sales in Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico. Deborah Pero, a 20-year sales and marketing veteran, will manage accounts in the Northeast.
Both Sorenson and Pero will report to Scott Hudecek, Innovacyn’s director of sales, animal health division. “Kimberly and Deborah each bring direct, relevant sales experience in their regions. Growing our sales force with talent like this will help the company continue to expand its distribution in the consumer, veterinary and farm/ranch markets,” said Hudecek. “We couldn’t be happier to welcome them to the team and look forward to their contributions.”
Sorenson and Pero will manage all aspects of sales and training for their assigned territories. Other responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with key audiences including distributors, veterinarians, pet stores, and farm and ranch retail outlets.
Prior to joining Innovacyn, Sorenson served as a key account manager for Jarden Consumer Solutions, where she managed accounts, coordinated dealer and national trade shows, and provided distributor sales training. She previously held the post of vice president of sales and marketing for Hydrosurge, Inc., a leader in animal bathing equipment. Sorenson studied animal science and zoology at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and UC Santa Barbara.
Pero previously worked as a sales representative for Planet Dog, a high-end dog toy manufacturer. She consistently exceeded targets for her eight-state territory, conducted training seminars, and coordinated trade shows and merchandising events. Her prior sales experience includes positions at New Jersey Diagnostic Imaging and Wachovia Mortgage. She attended Ocean County College and has volunteered at Byram Animal Rescue for the past 15 years.
