We know that our inquisitive feline friends can get into trouble. Vetericyn Plus® Feline Antimicrobial Hydrogel provides your cat’s wounds with the protective barrier they need. Vetericyn Plus® Feline Antimicrobial Hydrogel is designed to adhere to the wound site, providing an extra layer of protection for wound and skin ailments. Our gel formulation brings moisture to the wound which can help speed the healing process. For optimal healing, use our Vetericyn Plus® Feline Wound and Skin Care liquid to clean the wound, then use Vetericyn Plus® Feline Antimicrobial Hydrogel to provide the wound with a barrier that provides moisture and protection.

To dispense hydrogel for application, remove cap, push down on sprayer and hold, shake bottle, and then release the sprayer. Move excess hair from wound area. Clip if necessary. Remove cap and saturate the affected area. If dressing is required, saturate dressing with Vetericyn Plus® Wound & Skin Care or Antimicrobial Hydrogel at each dressing change. Repeat 3-4 times per day or as necessary. Faster healing is achieved when wounds are cleaned and maintained moist. No rinsing necessary. Safe for use around mouth, nose, ears, and eyes. For best results, first clean affected area with Vetericyn Plus® Wound & Skin Liquid to ensure deep dermal cleansing and proper wound bed preparation.

The product is kind of grey. Is that normal?

If the product is a gel it should be opaque or greyish. It must be shaken well prior to application. The liquid formulas are clear and not cloudy.

Why does the Vetericyn Plus® Hydrogel spray harden if the product isn’t being used?

This may happen because the product might have been frozen, the applicator was not closed properly, the cap was left off the pump sprayer, or it was not stored in proper conditions, or it was exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. All Hydrogels are to be shaken well before use/application. Please follow storage instructions on product label to prevent possible problems.
